Talk about your dedicated quilter!!! This woman put 3000 hours of work into this quilt over four years!!! A true work of art!! It was sold this year for $70,000. Absolutely amazing! Choosing fabrics for a sampler quilt is quite intimidating! After an hour of putting different colors and patterns together I was overwhelmed and took a break. My husband and I tried having a fishing contest this year. He caught one 24″ northern. I caught two weeds, one small northern wrapped in weeds, and one 175 lb. Norwegian! In more “interleague” play the young Irishman, Graeme McDowell won the U.S. Open golf tournament, followed by the Frenchman, Gregory Havret, in second place!
