Hello and Welcome to the page about me!
My name is Peggy Larson and I have been sewing since I was a young child. In other words, a very long time!
My mother was my first teacher. Mom taught me to sew by hand out of her fear of me sewing my own finger on the machine! Her sewing machine was a Westinghouse from 1935 so I forgive her and bless her for making my safety a priority! I still have that Westinghouse machine although I don’t sew on it any more.
The first item I made was a hand sewn doll for my first niece. Ironically, the first baby quilt I made was for that niece’s first son! You can see a picture of it on the gallery page….the baby quilt, that is, not the doll!
I live in Minnesota with my husband Tim, daughter Amber, and two rat terriers, Frank Sinatra and Xena Warrior Princess. And every other weekend, my stepchildren Michael and Katie.
Quilting is my favorite activity. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you with your quilting gifts and projects.
